The main religion in India is Hindu about 80% next would be Muslim at
8% and Christianity is down at about 2.7 %. You might think that this is a low figure but considering that the population
is well over 1 billion people...
you get the idea. The primary language is Hindi and English, both of which are being taught in almost all schools. The
region that we will be staying in is Karnataka, village of Gurupura. The regional language is Kannada but many people speak
Tamil and Malyalam (I may have butchered the spelling so please forgive me). The village of Gurupura has 60-75 people and
is relatively isolated from any larger towns.
